Hi!

Since myself and Anne launched this web site two short months ago we’ve had many notes and messages of encouragement from all over the country.

And that’s great!

Some people have contacted us to ask if there are any special benefits to be gained by joining the forum. And the answer is... not now, but hopefully, as the word gets out and the site becomes better known, there will be practical benefits and information exchanges that will help everyone. In the meantime, I’m happy to showcase your house for you in the photograph gallery, for all your friends and family to visit and admire.

Soon I hope to have a proper discussion forum programme attached to the web site so that Thatch Owners can talk to each other about Thatch matters that are of immediate interest and concern to each other.

And yes!

Yes, I think that we need a special section for Thatch suppliers and Thatch services in Ireland. I’ll have to work on that one, but if anyone is interested in having their name and service details featured on the site, please contact me.

Most of the queries up to now have been from people looking for an insurance provider. Others have been looking for reed, thatch rods etc. So I guess an Irish ‘Thatch Suppliers & Services’ page will be a useful addition to the site.
