As you can see it's a very attractive thatch cottage. It 2-storey with the upstairs window at the hip gable end.

The fact that there is an iron fire place leaning against the outside wall suggests that work is currently underway in the house.

If the owner of this very attractive cottage would like to join our forum and tell us more about the house - if they know anythng about it - you are very welcome.

What I find unusual about this cottage is that someone has planted two rows of hedges on either side of the pathway leading from the gate at the road to the ... eh ... door of the house. But, as you can see, the door is to the right of the carefully hedged pathway.

I'm sure that there is a very good reason why the door is not positioned at the end of the pathway - but, rather, to one side of it - but I don't know why.
